Wow, what an incredible show we endeavoured yesterday at Sandy Park, Exeter. The inaugural Venturefest South West was a showcase of the cutting edge innovation and entrepreneurship coming out of Devon, Cornwall and Somerset that certainly didn’t disappoint. The event brought hundreds of entrepreneurs and businesses together with innovators and academics to fuse business ideas with novel research and plenty of opportunities for funding.
The day also saw speakers and masterclasses from the world of investment, market leaders sharing their insight plus success stories from trailblazing local and national entrepreneurs. Some of the speakers included; Simon Walker from Crowdfunder, Jack Gill from So Good Studios and Lucy Cox from Halto.
The opportunity to showcase our work at the event was a pleasure, where we demonstrated one of our latest projects for a client in Belfast, to a sold out crowd of sprightly entrepreneurs. We managed to make quite an impression at the event and even managed to attract ITV news who recorded a user interacting and manipulating a house in virtual reality. Watch the video:
