What is virtual reality?
Virtual reality is when a user can experience a computer generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive.
What do you need from me to create a VR project?
To create a VR project we need to have access to a floorplan or 3D model of the structure and know a few extra details from you (e.g. which headset you would like to use, the level of detail you’d like to see and if you require any extras). To get a free quote, please contact us.
How much does it cost to create a VR project?
Just as the cost for a building project can vary massively based on a number of factors, so does the cost of creating a VR experience. Its incredibly difficult to give a figure without first knowing some more details and ideally seeing a floor plan or 3D model of the structure. If you’d like to receive a free quote, please contact us.
How long will my project take to be completed?
As with the cost, the amount of time a project takes to complete depends on many factors including: the size of the structure, the level of detail required, whether any extras are required etc… Please get in touch if you have a project in mind and we can give you a free quote.
I've had renders made already (e.g. V-Ray), can you use them to create VR?
Though we can’t directly convert renders into VR, we can use many aspects used in the renders such as the 3D models, materials and textures used which will help us get a better feel for the style you’re after and may even save us time!
Can you provide VR headsets?
We certainly can, we have a number of headsets which can be loaned to you, or included as part of your project depending on scope.
Can you provide computers and any other equipment I need?
Yes, we can also provide computers and other equipment you might need on loan, or included as part of the project depending on scope.
What happens after my project is finished? Do you offer support?
We personally deliver the project to you and make sure you’re fully setup and know exactly how it all works. We also have a dedicated support team who are readily available to you at any point after the project is completed to answer any questions you may have.
What file formats do you accept?
We can work with a vast selection of 2D and 3D formats including CAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3DS Max and many more. If you’d like to know whether we support the files you work with, please contact us.
Can you provide visualisations of both interiors and exteriors?
Yes, no problem at all. We can either use the exterior provided in a 2D/3D file, or if you don’t have one we can create one based on details you provide.
What VR headsets do you support?
We mainly work with the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard. If you have an alternate device you’d like a project to work with, please get in touch.

If you have any questions as to whether your hardware is compatible, please feel free to contact us.
Do you have a sample project I can try?
We certainly do, if you’re on a computer, press the ‘Try a demo’ button at the top of the page. Our demos are currently available for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, be sure to read the Readme file to make sure your system is compatibile otherwise you may not have an optimal experience.
We can also provide demos in person if you’re interested in working with us, if you’d like to organise a session at your workplace, feel free to contact us.
